Respond to that idea. What do you think about it? Do you think that teachers could be more effective if they used technology tools (think podcasts, web videos, online discussion forums, electronic assignment submission, tech-related project assignments)? Are modern students technologically inclined? What about being a student in Utah? Do you think that being in Utah keeps you a little behind-the-times as far as technology learning is concerned? Would YOU do better if more multi-media was used in your classrooms to teach and present, and for you to demonstrate your learning and communicate?
I guess it would be okay, we do live in a technological world, and in a lot of jobs you have to know how to work with stuff like this, we have to learn all the new stuff that is coming out and how to use it properly. So in a way it would be good to use technology more in the classroom. Some of it I personally don't think I would like, like making movies and stuff, that just doesn't make sense to me, but if we were learning how to use it, then it wouldn't be so bad. I don't feel like I'm behind really, I mean I wish we could have laptop one on one and stuff like that, but I don't feel like I'm being held back from learning. I might be able to do a bit better if we used more technology, but I probably wouldn't like staring at a computer for 3-5 hours in a day.
